My husband is a huge Red Sox and baseball fan and was looking forward to our first child. He had hoped to share his love of the Red Sox and baseball with a son. When our daughter Alisa was born he was shocked but put a ball and bat in her hand as soon as she could stand. Together they share a love of baseball and the Red Sox. Her first communion day was no exception. She waits with her glove in hand for when he gets out of work so they can play and he coaches her Red Sox baseball team. Together they will always have great memories of time shared enjoying baseball.
