Located in the small countryside hamlet of Lavoy, an hour east of Alberta's capital city of Edmonton, Abundant Life Wellness Centre, Health Retreat & Spa provides a peaceful, secluded environment aimed at accelerating healing, away from the city's hustle and bustle. The center offers 6-, 10-, and 14-day all-inclusive health retreats that focus on advanced whole-body detoxification, weight loss, and rejuvenation combined with daily health education lectures, raw/vegan meal options, and emotional wellness restoration activities. Custom-made cleansing drinks, tasty raw meals, periods of eating/semi fasting, and hydrotherapy treatments are provided to encourage elimination of toxins. Housed in a quaint 100-year-old hotel, the health retreat caters to nearly all ages (guests must be age 15 or older) and accommodates up to 12 guests at a time, allowing for a more comfortable atmosphere and plenty of personal attention.
