Deborah Croan, M.S., L.Ac. has a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is licensed by the state of California and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is a current member of the California Society of Oriental Medicine. She has been studying and working in the field of Natural Medicine for over ten years. During her final year of graduate study, Deborah had the good fortune to work in the busy Acupuncture office of Jorgen Jensen, L.Ac., an experience which deepened her understanding of and proficiency in Chinese Nutrition and Herbal Medicine. Before this, she worked for three years as a Health Care Consultant for Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, helping clients with a variety of health care needs. She has also done postgraduate work in Dr. Tan's Balance Method and Mary Elizabeth Wakefield's Facial Rejuvenation. Deborah currently treats many patients who suffer from chronic pain. In addition, she has experience helping patients with compromised immunity, stress and anxiety, fatigue, digestive disorders and gynecological problems. Deborah integrates her professional interests with a personal enthusiasm for the outdoors, enjoying long hikes with her dog. A former marathon runner, she continues to take fitness seriously, with regular practice of Yoga and Pilates.
