Before I became a Miami acupuncture physician, my mother was hospitalized and quite ill in 2002. I was in my junior year at college working on my Bachelor Degree in Psychology. Two times, her respiratory system failed. To this day, the doctors have no idea what caused the problem. I was unhappy and frustrated that they couldn't help my mother, so I studied up on the subject and found alternative medicine might be able to help. It didn't take long for me to understand the approaches of natural medicine, the preventive mindset to disease and their treatments. I found it completely amazing how this simple medicine has been healing people for millennium. From then on, my life was altered. Both my mother and I learned how to lead a healthy lifestyle and we learned Traditional Chinese Medicine in order to become licensed and certified TCM healers. I feel fortunate to have learned to be healthy and to be able to pass this information and relief onto my acupuncture patients. The secrets to health are laughter, happiness, and love, which is the most crucial lesson that I have learned of all. Father and Mother, thank you! Credentials: I am an acupuncture physician licensed in the state of Florida. In 2008 I received a Bachelor in Health Science and a Master in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Massage College. I had the opportunity to study the oriental healing arts with teachers of note such as Dr. Gordon Xue and Doctor Dong Hua. My current focus is on acupuncture for pain in Miami , but I have also treated psychological disorders, addiction, chakra balancing and many other conditions successfully. Acupuncture for weight management and Miami non surgical face lifts are my specialties and I trained under the well-known Dr. Ping Zhang. I was trained at “ Acupuncturists Without Borders ” to help facilitate the healthy recovery of those who had experienced a natural disaster and I have certification through that organization. After completing my education in Oriental Medicine, I wanted to add to it by studying the Ayurvedic way, which I did at the Sai Ayurvedic College in Miami.
