Located in Sewell, New Jersey, vir tú is a wellness facility that encompasses three divisions: the day spa, the medical spa, and the Wellness Institute. The spa offers a collection of traditional and alternative services, treatments, and therapies that are meant to energize, relax, balance, and heal. At vir tú, clients are encouraged to become the primary caretakers of their own well-being. The 13,000-square-foot facility has a contemporary design incorporating natural and organic materials, with an airy lobby and a retail area. The Wellness Institute features a wellness theater, and four consultation rooms. The med spa has separate consultation and procedure rooms. On the second floor is the spa, where there are 11 treatment rooms, men's and women's locker rooms, and a relaxation area. Day spa services include massage, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, hair care, makeup application and instruction, lash and brow tinting, and waxing. A full range of packages is offered, or clients can custom design their own. At the Advanced Beauty Center, medical services include liposuction, skin rejuvenation treatments, non-surgical face-lifts, acne scar removal, Accent® XL cellulite treatments, hand rejuvenation, and Latisse® eyelash enhancers. Botox®, ELEVESS™, Juvéderm™, ArteFill®, Perlane®, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Cosmoderm®, and Sculptra™ are also available. Obagi skin-care products are used during services. The Wellness Institute at vir tú is under the direction of a naturopathic physician, Dr. Melissa Josselson, and focuses on alternative treatments while catering to each client's individual needs with customized treatment plans. Audio therapy, which consists of music, sounds, tones, and vibrations that are used for weight-loss, smoking cessation, and stress relief, is provided in the Satori Space powered by Prescription Audio. There is also a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and Prescription Audio products are also accessible via the Wellness Institute.
