About Jessie Li, MD(in China). L.Ac Dr. Jessie Li is MD of China, licensed acupuncturist and herbalist of Texas. She graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) after successfully completing a rigorous six-year program on both TCM and Western medicine and received her Medical Doctor’s degree in 1966 in China. Dr. Li has more than 40 years of experience practicing medicine. Besides working as a physician in hospitals, she also taught TCM and conducted research work at Shanghai Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China from 1966 to 1985. Dr. Li has been practicing acupuncture and herbs in Houston, Texas since 1985. She is the founder of Texas acupuncture and former vice president of Texas Acupuncture Association. Dr. Li taught TCM in American College of Acupuncture Oriental Medicine in Houston from 1992 to 2005. She is currently a professor at that college. For the past 44 years, Dr. Jessie Li has been successful in using acupuncture and herbal medicine in treating a wide variety of physical diseases and emotional problems including but not limited to various kinds of acute and chronic pains, arthritis, migraines, stress, depression and emotional instability disorder along with alcohol abuse and smoking cessation, insomnia, immunity disorder, allergies, sinus, circulation and digestive disorder, problems of liver and kidney, weight control, PMS, infertility, supplement treatment for cancer and other difficult cases.
