History of Green Tea

The legend says: “One day while he was sitting in the garden some leaves fell down  in his cup of water, the emperor tried that water which had a nice aroma and flavor, thus the tea leaves was discovered. “  Moreover, the emperor discovered not only green tea but Chinese medicine as well. According to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) all green tea was compressed into cakes. Loose leaf tea became popular during the Ming dynasty and remains the best drink on social occasions today as well.

Green tea contains vitamins and minerals, polyphenols, no caffeine.
